Story Drumming
Story Drumming presentations combine read-aloud with syllabic rhythms to offer an engaging way of experiencing the joy of drumming. Words and phrases are used as scaffolds to help participants access rhythm patterns. This way of learning reinforces musical skills and supports literacy and language skills.
Train the Trainer Workshop
Philly Talking Drums provides training workshops to help individuals, families, teens, or staff facilitate Story Drumming groups. Coaching is also available after initial workshops and training.
